Hand Rubbed Finish or Friction Finish?

Since I started turning I used a "friction finish" on all my products, only because when I started out I saw a few turners do it on Youtube.I loved the look and figured why not. so after I experimented with different products I started to apply the friction finish process to all my turning projects.

Lately I came across a turner on Youtube who applied a hand rubbed finish to his turned projects and I really liked the results, so I basically ordered the same finishing product he used and tested it out on a few of my projects.

I really like this method. It give the object more of a buttery soft, wood feel, meaning you can actually feel the wood as opposed to the glass like smooth shiny feel you get with the friction finish, feels more like glass or plastic. Both are equally beutiful for sure but I am leaning more towards the hand rubbed method. I think it's more organic and that is important to me.
